Avoid this organization (of crooks) at all costs! Our company's account was canceled because they claimed to have received a late payment. The payment was issued on time and I have no control over the speed of mail. The check was dated in accordance with the terms on the account. They then charged a $100 fee to reinstate our account. On top of all this, I had to spend the better part of a work day on the phone calling 6 different phone... Read more

I work for a providers office and was calling for claims status today. I spent nearly 4 hours cumulatively on hold on their provider line on three different occasions. On the 4th call to HealthNet (after waiting for an hour and 40 minutes), I called the member line to try to get through to a human being. I DID! SUCCESS RIGHT?!?!? WRONG. While I got through to a human, she "transferred me" to a provider services representative. I waited on hold... Read more

We have been working w/Dr.M for several years. I would only like to talk about the last 5 weeks. On 8/29/16 took dad "Wallace" to the E.R. for severe & chronic constipation. For many months he had been complaining to 3 different doctors. Gave him an enema & scan. Some relief. Follow up w/Dr M, Dr. S. & Dr. G Which we did. Also E.R. recommended G.I. Specialist. Dr.S said see oncologist. A.S.A.P. That did not occur until 9/12/16. On that same day... Read more

The clerk has been informed - at that time that both of us were AETNA members and want to switch to Health Net starting with 01/01/2014. However, the Health Net ID cards were issues for both of us as valid starting on 12/01/2013 when we were still covered by AETNA plans. Immediately we contacted Health Net and reported the error but we have received... Read more

8 years ago I contracted MRSA of the spine after a hospital spinal surgery. The infection has recurred numerous times requiring many spinal fusions and I & D's. over the past 8 years. I have been septic and near death on several occasions. In 2012, I was admitted to the hospital for 3 surgeries and once for extensive testing and pain control management. Upon each discharge, I was prescribed pain medicine by practitioners associated... Read more

Our premiums are ALWAYS being increased. In October 2010 we received another rate increase and this time decided to make changes to our policies since we could not rationalize spending an extra 60 dollars per policy when we rarely use our insurance and instead end up using cash for services. A call was made to the insurance company and changes were made with one of their representatives over the phone. The changes made were to the deductible... Read more
